guesses and colours you entered.
How to use it
Type the word you guessed, then tap each tile until it matches the colour
your puzzle showed: red for a letter that is not in the word, amber for a
letter in the word but in the wrong place, green for a letter in the right
place. The app then shows how many words still fit and which guesses narrow
things down fastest.
Common questions
It says no words match my clues.
Usually a tile is tagged with the wrong colour. Tap Undo to bring the last
guess back and correct it. It can also mean your puzzle used a word that is
not in the app's list.
Why does it suggest a word that cannot be the answer?
Words marked "Narrows it down" cannot win this turn, but testing them
rules out more possibilities than guessing an answer outright.
What do the percentages on the keyboard mean?
How many of the remaining words contain that letter. Stronger blue means
a guess using it would narrow things down more.
The Define button does not appear.
Definitions come from dictionaries iOS has downloaded. Look up any word
elsewhere on your iPhone and choose Manage Dictionaries to add one.
